Koraput: A review meeting was held on Tuesday at the Sadbhavana Conference Hall in Koraput, organized by the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development Department, focusing on strengthening the education system. The meeting was chaired by Koraput District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan.

Key issues discussed included:

Improving Matriculation exam results in high schools under the ST & SC Development Department

Strengthening the residential school ecosystem

Achieving 100% success rate in board exams

The Collector strictly instructed that no headmaster under the department may take leave without his prior permission.

Other topics reviewed:

Improvement of school infrastructure such as classrooms, drinking water, electricity, and sanitation facilities

Formation of a cluster of skilled teachers for capacity-building training

Installation of biometric attendance for all teachers and students in schools

Mandatory 90% attendance for students to be eligible to appear in exams

Provision of special coaching and support classes for students to ensure 100% matriculation success
