Bhubaneswar, 17th Oct 2025: The All Odisha State Ranking Badminton Tournament was recently held in Balasore, where the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) team delivered an outstanding performance.
From the university, Harshita Raut, a student, emerged as the women’s singles champion. She achieved double success by winning both the women’s singles and women’s doubles titles. Additionally, she finished as the runner-up in the mixed doubles category.
Another KIIT player, Tumi Bagchi, became the runner-up in women’s singles.
In the men’s category, Arya Majhi from KIIT clinched the men’s singles title.
On this occasion, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT and KISS, congratulated all the winners and extended his best wishes for their continued success.
