Bhubaneswar: The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has once again achieved remarkable results in the Odisha CHSE Plus Two examinations, showcasing outstanding academic performance. The results were announced on Wednesday.
Continuing its tradition of excellence, KISS performed impressively across all three streams — Science, Arts, and Commerce. Notably, girl students outperformed boys this year, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to empowering young women through education.
Promila Khila secured the top position in the Arts stream with 84%, while Krishna Kahar scored the highest in the Science stream with 89Percent. In the Commerce stream, Jema Singh topped with 87Percent.
Compared to last year, KISS has shown significant improvement in first division results. In the Science stream, 171 students achieved first division, 182 in Commerce, and 222 in Arts. A total of 1,870 students appeared for the examination.
Congratulating the students for their excellent performance, KIIT and KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta expressed his pride and happiness. He stated, “These results reflect the tireless dedication of our teachers and staff, as well as the hard work and perseverance of our students.”
