Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand reels under heavy rainfall, causing widespread disruption. The Kedarnath Yatra has been suspended due to incessant rain . Pilgrims have been halted at Sonprayag and Gaurikund for safety. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts today. Due to continuous downpour in Rudraprayag, the water level of the Alaknanda River has risen . However, the river is still flowing below the danger mark. The road leading to Badrinath has also been closed due to a landslide. Clearing work is ongoing in Gaurikund, and the yatra is expected to resume soon after restoration,
