Phulnakhara: Professor and columnist Dr. Kavyalata Raut has been appointed as the State General Secretary of the Apna Janata Party in Odisha. She has served as the principal, general director, and professor at several colleges and educational institutions.
In addition, for the past five years, she has worked as the Joint Secretary of the Bhadrak District Red Cross Society. Alongside, she has been associated with Akashvani (All India Radio), contributing to news broadcasting. Dr. Raut’s appointment has been welcomed in various intellectual and social circles, especially in Cuttack and Chandrasekharpur, where she has participated in several awareness campaigns and programs.
