Cuttack,27th Sept 2025: The educational institution Kanchamati, located in Sector-9 of Markatnagar, celebrated the sacred Guru Day. The program was held under the chairmanship of educationist and founder president of Raghunathjiu College, Satyajit Mahapatra. The former president of Chowdwar College, Professor Jayakrishna Mahant, was the chief guest. Educationist Dr. Jnanaguru Das was the main speaker. Former Doordarshan cameraman Ashok Mahanti and engineer Guruprasad Prusti attended as honored guests.
The program began with a welcome speech by the institution’s director Rashmita Mahanti. Advocate Sanjay Samantaray introduced the guests.
On this occasion, Professor Prabhakar Mishra, artist Vijay Sahu, Advocate Umakant Bala, music director Sharath Nayak, yoga guru Kanchan Behera, dance guru Anima Jena, and social worker Snigdha Pattnayak were felicitated.
