Dabugaon: The annual function of Barajodi Government Primary School, under Medana Panchayat of Dabugaon Block in Nabarangpur district, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp today. Dignitaries and guests were seated on the dais to grace the occasion.
The program began with a traditional offering of incense, lamps, and Naivedya (holy food) to the photo of Lord Ganesha, followed by garlanding. After this ceremonial start, the event proceeded with various activities.
The headmaster of the school read out the annual report, highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution. Later, the young students of the school presented cultural performances which were greatly appreciated by the audience. Students who had excelled in various fields were awarded on this occasion.
A special meeting was also organized under the chairmanship of Headmaster Shri Duryodhan Swain. The SMC (School Management Committee) President Shri Budu Santa attended as the chief guest. Among the honored guests, Ward Member Yashoda and others presented certificates of appreciation and awards to meritorious students.
Teachers Abhimanyu Majhi, Jayaram Suna, and Kalacharan Sahu played active roles in organizing and supporting the event. Also present were Anganwadi worker Urmila Mehera, Anganwadi assistant Debaki Santa, SMC member Nari Santa, writer Sindhu Santa, Chakradhar Santa, and Lengu Santa, who all contributed to the success of the event.
