Nabarangpur, Feb 2, 2026 (By Benu Gopal Rao): A public grievance hearing camp was held today at the Zilla Parishad Conference Hall under the joint chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and Superintendent of Police M. Sandeep Sampad.
Additional District Magistrate (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector of Nabarangpur Prakash Kumar Mishra, along with all district-level departmental officers, were present at the camp.
A total of 38 applicants submitted their grievance petitions during the hearing. Out of these, 27 were related to individual issues and 11 concerned village-level and collective problems. One grievance was resolved on the spot.
Most of the complaints were related to pension benefits, land pattas, electricity, healthcare, labour issues, operation of Laxmi Bus services, and housing.
