Malkangiri, Jan, 15: A joint grievance redressal camp was organized on Monday by the district administration at Dhuliput Gram Panchayat under Chitrakonda Block. Acting on the directions of District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, the camp was held in the presence of Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Somanath Pradhan, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Naresh Chandra Shabar, Chitrakonda BDO Pritam Kumar, and SDPO Pradosh Pradhan.
A total of 84 grievances were heard during the camp, out of which 34 were personal grievances and 50 were related to village-level problems. Among the beneficiaries, 29 persons were provided homestead land pattas under the Bansundhara Scheme. While 27 people were issued new labour cards, the labour cards of 18 workers were renewed.
After the grievance hearing, all the officials visited various schools to inspect and review the quality of the mid-day meal being served. District-level officers, along with BDOs and Tahsildars, were present at this joint grievance redressal camp.
