Jharsuguda Youth Trust Pays Tribute to Two Brave Sons of Odisha

Jharsuguda, Jan 28:  On the sacred birth anniversaries of two brave sons of Odisha and great freedom fighters, Veer Surendra Sai and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a solemn tribute program was organized today by the Jharsuguda Youth Trust in Jharsuguda district with deep respect and dignity.

On this occasion, floral tributes were first offered at the statue of Veer Surendra Sai located at Jharsuguda Airport Square. Later, homage was paid at Khinda, the sacred birthplace of Veer Surendra Sai, remembering his immortal sacrifice, patriotism, and contribution to Odia pride. A solemn remembrance ceremony was held to honor his legacy.

To make the occasion memorable, under the able leadership of Jharsuguda Youth Trust President Shri Gopal Patel, a massive bike rally of around 20 kilometers was organized from Jharsuguda Airport Square to Khinda Square.

Trustees of the Jharsuguda Youth Trust, including Shri Mohan Nayak, Shri Jaspin Nayak, Shri Vivek Patel, Shri Rajat Patel, and Shri Kamal Charan Das, along with more than 400 members, participated in the rally with enthusiasm and discipline.

Through the bike rally, tribute was paid to the martyr freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai with the Tricolour as a mark of respect. Floral wreaths were also laid at his statue.
