Jeypore, Jan, 05: At the 9th Sarbokrushna Men’s and Women’s State Boxing Championship held at the Biju Patnaik Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, Arjit Mahapatra of Jeypore participated in the 90 kg plus category and won a medal.
From Koraput district, two boxers took part in the competition. The other boxer, Bikash Sahu, participated in the 60–65 kg category.
Arjit Mahapatra has been congratulated by the president Shashibhusan Dash and all office-bearers of the Amateur Boxing Association, Koraput.
