Jeypore, Dec, 27: Jeypore has been honored for its notable achievements in various fields. The block has been awarded as the second-best block in the district at the state-level public festival Parab. The trophy was received by Block Chairperson Tilottama Muduli and B.D.O. Shakti Mahapatra. Mahapatra stated that the success was made possible with the support of Panchayat representatives and block employees.

During the fifth and final night of Parab, the ceremony was attended by special guests including District Council Chairperson Sasmita Meleka, Koraput MLA Raghuram Machh, Pattangi MLA Ramchandra Kadam, and Laxmipur MLA Mahalal Pramukh. Block Chairperson Tilottama and B.D.O. Shakti Mahapatra were called to the stage to receive the trophy. Both were honored for organizing, managing, and successfully conducting block-level programs in various fields. Block employees extended their congratulations for the achievement.
For reference, Bandhugaon and Semiliguda blocks have previously been ranked first, while Jaypur and Koraput blocks jointly secured second place. The third award went to Baipariguda.
