Jeypore, Dec, 10: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Jeypore HDFC Bank. The camp was inaugurated by Sabysachi Jena, Tahsildar of Jeypore.
Under the leadership of Bank Manager Soumendra Chhotray, a total of 27 units of blood were collected from the community. The camp aimed to establish good relations with the public and help reduce the shortage of blood in blood banks.
According to the bank manager, this tradition has been followed for 17 years, as every year on the first Friday of December, HDFC Bank organizes such blood donation camps across India.
The camp was managed by several key persons, including blood donor coordinator Pramod Kumar Raul, blood bank doctor R. T. Padhi, technician Lakshmikant Gain, Prabhati Padhi, and Amar Mahuria.
All blood donors were honored with certificates of appreciation. Bank staff who actively assisted in the camp included Hera, Suchismita Nanda, Jitendra Shantanu Behera, Lakshmipriya Bisoi, Subhai, Subhangi Bishwal, Sarita Behera, Manisha Tripathi, Anisha Tripathi, and Rajendra Nayak.
