Dasapalla,Jan, 23:  The semifinal match of the Dasapalla Cup Football Tournament was held today. The match was played between Jammu & Kashmir, the winners of the first quarterfinal, and Kerala, the winners of the second quarterfinal held yesterday.

Jammu & Kashmir took the lead in the first half by scoring one goal, setting the tone for victory. In the second half, it was expected that Kerala would score and bring the match to an equal position. However, in a twist of fate, Jammu & Kashmir went on to score goal after goal, taking a commanding 4–0 lead. Later, following their coach’s advice and after much effort, Kerala managed to score a consolation goal.

In the end, Jammu & Kashmir won the match 4–1 and qualified for the final.
Social worker Madhusmita Baliyarsingh, Block Chairperson Sunanda Sahu, and NAC Chairperson Eng. Poonam Priya Darshini were present as guests. The match was officiated by referee Raju Mahanti.

According to Society President Dillip Kumar Panda and Editor Bhavani Prasad Mishra, tomorrow’s final match will be played between Jammu & Kashmir and Bihar.
