Rayagada: The East Coast Railway has decided to introduce an independent express train between Jagdalpur and Thakurnagar, starting today. The train will depart Jagdalpur every Wednesday at 8:00 AM, traveling via Koraput and Rayagada, reaching Rayagada at 2:10 PM in the afternoon. From there, it will continue towards Thakurnagar, reaching its destination at 10:45 AM the following day (Thursday). On the return journey, the train will depart from Thakurnagar on Fridays, reaching Jagdalpur on Saturdays, as per railway sources.
The train composition includes:
2 Second AC coaches
4 Third AC coaches
4 General coaches
2 coaches for Divyang (specially-abled passengers) and luggage
The Jagdalpur-Thakurnagar Express (Train No. 08563) will halt at 17 stations between Jagdalpur and Thakurnagar, according to the railway department.
