Jagatsinghpur ,11th Sept 2025: A “Bhadra Literary Gathering” was organized by the Jagatsinghpur Sahitya Parishad at the Alaka Ashram premises. The event was presided over by renowned storyteller and President Er. Bishnu Sahu.
Distinguished guests at the event included Dr. Surendranath Tripathi (eminent litterateur), Pitambar Mahapatra (editor of Ashadha magazine), and poet Ajay Kumar Behera, who shed light on the stream of lyrical poetry.
Other notable speakers included poets Parikhita Mahanti, Sheshadev Chhotaray, and Manorama Satapathy.
During the event, Manorama Satapathy’s poetry collection titled ‘Ṣāṭhi’e Pāhācara Itibr̥tta’ (The Chronicle of Sixty Hills) was unveiled.
In coordination with Manorama Satapathy and Monalisa Muduli, several poets participated in the poetry recitation session. These included:
