Kolnara, Dec, 10: The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was observed at the office of the BEO (Block Education Officer) in Kolnara under the auspices of BEO Manjulata Jena. As part of the programme, an awareness rally was conducted involving differently-abled students and their parents.
Following the rally, various competitions were organized for students, including Musical Chair, Jalebi Race, Drawing, Ball-Finding, and Music competitions. The event was coordinated by education staff members Krushnaprasad Mishra, Binapani Mishra, and Pushpalata Pradhan. A meeting was also held on this occasion.
The programme was presided over by the BEO, and special guests BEO Dalimb Surya and Pitradeb Bidika were present. The Headmaster of Bheja Primary School, Soumya Kulesika, was honored with a shawl and bouquet during the event.
Cultural performances were presented at the conclusion of the event. Students who excelled in the various competitions were awarded prizes. The programme was conducted with the assistance of teachers Krushnaprasad Mishra, Pushpalata Pradhan, Binapani Mishra, Shobhana Kandagari, Mohan Mahankud, Majhirao Kandagari, Shivaprasad Behera, Srikant Jena, Narayan Swain, P. Srinivas, Satyanarayan Sukari, Balakrishna Sahu, and Darubrahma Behera.
