Jeypore, 16th Oct 2025: The Rourkela–Jagdalpur–Rourkela Intercity Express will not operate on October 14 (Tuesday) and October 15 (Wednesday). From then on, the Rourkela–Jagdalpur Intercity Express will remain cancelled every Tuesday, and the Jagdalpur–Rourkela Intercity Express will remain cancelled every Wednesday, until December 17.
This decision has been taken by South Eastern Railway due to ongoing development work in the Chakradharpur division of Jharkhand. The department has shared this update via the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).
Affected Trains and Schedule:
According to official sources, the following trains will be impacted:
Train No. 18107 – Rourkela to Jagdalpur Intercity Express – will remain cancelled every Tuesday from October 14 to December 16.
Dates of cancellation:
October: 14, 21, 28
November: 4, 11, 18, 25
December: 2, 9, 16
Train No. 18108 – Jagdalpur to Rourkela Intercity Express – will remain cancelled every Wednesday from October 15 to December 17.
Dates of cancellation:
October: 15, 22, 29
November: 5, 12, 19, 26
December: 3, 10, 17
Other express and MEMU trains have also been cancelled on various dates, and some routes have been diverted. The department urges all passengers to check train schedules in advance and take necessary precautions based on the list of cancelled trains.
