Kathmandu, 17th Sept 2025: 23 Odia pilgrims from Jajpur district, who were stranded in Kathmandu, Nepal, during recent violent unrest, have safely returned to India. After the incident, the group had contacted India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Dr. Manoj Mohapatra. Thanks to the efforts of the Indian Embassy, the tourists were able to return safely. The State and Central governments worked jointly to ensure the safe return of the pilgrims. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi shared this information and expressed his gratitude to the agencies involved in the successful operation.
