Kotpad, 16th Aug 2025:— At the Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium in Kotpad, a junior badminton tournament was inaugurated on the occasion of the upcoming 79th Independence Day. The event began under the chairmanship of Kotpad Tehsildar Twinkle Sethi.
Honoured guests included Kotpad Block BDO Sandhyarani Samarth, Chairman M. Shankar Rao, Secretary Ganesh Panda, Vice Chairperson M. Santosh Namasi, Double AE Santosh Bagh, Ward Member Syed Yusuf, along with members of the media, students, and local residents.
In today’s competition, 16 players from the senior category and 20 players from the junior category participated, making the tournament lively and spirited. The winners will be awarded prizes on 15th August during the Independence Day celebrations.
