Spending authority of various officials increased at the administrative level
No longer necessary to wait for Cabinet or Ministerial approval
Departmental Secretaries and District Collectors can now approve project funds
Department heads can approve up to ₹10 crore; Secretaries up to ₹20 crore
Projects worth up to ₹100 crore will be approved by the Finance Committee
Projects exceeding ₹200 crore will require Cabinet approval
Decision aimed at accelerating public welfare schemes
