Bhubaneswar,  Dec, 12:  Instructions issued for immediate allotment of houses to eligible landless families.

Strict directive from the State Panchayati Raj Department to all District Collectors.

“Delay in providing permanent houses to the landless will not be tolerated.”

The Panchayati Raj Department has issued a letter to ensure houses are provided to genuine beneficiaries.

To resolve the issue of landlessness, strict instructions have been given to conduct a joint meeting of the BDO and the Tehsildar on the first Saturday of every month.

“Under PMAY-G, 271 landless people in Kendrapada have not received houses.”

“37,89,234 families are still living in kutcha houses.”

“At present, 2,01,011 families are landless.”
