Wuhan, 18th Oct 2025: : Iga Siatek secured an easy win at the ongoing Wuhan Open Tennis Tournament in China and has advanced to the pre-quarterfinals. In the women’s singles Round of 32 match held on Tuesday, second seed Siatek defeated Marie Bouzkova from the Czech Republic in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

It took the Polish star Siatek just 1 hour and 18 minutes to win this match. This was her 60th victory of the current year. Following this, at the WTA 1000 tournament, Siatek recorded her 100th straight set win. While playing her 153rd match, she reached this milestone.

The record for the fewest matches played to achieve 100 straight set wins at a WTA 1000 tournament is held by Steffi Graf (122 matches). Martina Hingis (145) and Serena Williams (144) also achieved this feat with more matches played than Siatek.
