IFS Trainees from Dehradun Visit Bhitarkanika National Park

Rajannagar, 31st Oct 2025: A group of 28 trainees from the Central Academy for State Forest Service (IFS) in Dehradun visited Bhitarkanika National Park on Sunday and returned the same day.

During the visit, the trainees gained detailed knowledge about crocodiles, saltwater mangroves, and the park’s biodiversity from Rajannagar Forest Division officials Mr. Baddha Raj Gaonkar, ACF Manas Kumar Das, and Research Assistant Prasanna Kumar Nayak.

The program ran from 10 AM to 5 PM, during which the trainees were fascinated by the natural environment and the scenic beauty of Bhitarkanika.
