Nabarangpur The Hindu Mahasangh has expressed deep concern over the increasing number of unidentified individuals or itinerant traders in Nabarangpur district. They have demanded that proper investigation be carried out into the identity documents and actual addresses of these people. If any of them are found to be illegal Bangladeshi nationals, they should be deported from the country, according to the organization.
Apart from the Hindu Mahasangh, other Hindu organizations have also raised similar concerns. They allege that such unidentified persons could be involved in activities like “Love Jihad,” theft, and other antisocial activities.
Jayanta Kumar Patra, a key leader of the Hindu Mahasangh, has particularly pointed out that many of these itinerant traders or individuals engaged in house painting might be illegal Bangladeshi Muslims. He warned that the sudden rise in such unknown individuals could lead to a potentially alarming situation in the district.
The Hindu Mahasangh emphasized that this matter cannot be ignored by the administration and urged all Hindu organizations to put aside internal differences and unite to address the issue of infiltration.
Arun Prasanna Nayak, legal advisor, and Shyamsundar Kabiraj, spokesperson of the Hindu Mahasangh, have appealed to all Hindu organizations to work together. They also mentioned that support is growing from local villagers and intellectuals in defense of the native population.
The organization stated that if necessary, a movement will be launched in the future with the cooperation of all stakeholders to protect the sacred land of Nabarangpur.
