Jammu and Kashmir, 22nd Aug 2025: Landslide on the Poonch Highway in Jammu and Kashmir disrupts vehicular movement. Continuous rainfall causes boulders to fall near Akhnoor, blocking the road. Police and administration are engaged in clearing soil and debris from the road. The Weather Department has advised travelers to remain cautious. Due to continuous rain and landslide risk, all schools in Rajouri and Poonch districts have been closed. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in the next 72 hours.
