Nabarangpur | 16th Sept 2025: The district will launch the ‘Healthy Women, Empowered Families’ Campaign from September 17 to October 2. On this occasion, a district-level coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain on September 11, 2025.
Officials from departments such as Health, Education, Women & Child Development, District Social Welfare, and Mission Shakti attended the meeting.
During this campaign, health awareness and screening camps will be organized at:
District Headquarters Hospital
All Community Health Centres (CHCs)
Primary Health Centres (PHCs)
Sub-Health Centres
Ayushman Arogya Mandirs
These camps will be held from September 17 to October 2, focusing on disease identification and public awareness.
Special health services will be provided for:
Women and children, including adolescent girls
Blood tests
Screenings for non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
Anemia screening
Sickle cell tests
Blood sugar tests
Additionally, vaccination drives will be held in designated villages, schools, and villages with over 1,000 population.
The campaign will be organized in:
All 90 CHCs
40 PHCs
1 Urban PHC
Ayushman Arogya Mandirs
Sub-Health Centres
Furthermore, specialized medical camps will be conducted by expert doctors in all CHCs. The District Collector has instructed all departments to work in coordination to make the campaign a success.
