Nabarangpur, 27th Sept 2025: A health camp was organized at the premises of Badambada Primary Health Centre in Kosagumuda Block of Nabarangpur district under the nationwide initiative ‘Sustha Nari Sashakta Parivaar Abhiyaan’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On this occasion, the program was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Sarbeswar Bahinipati, the In-charge Medical Officer of Badambada Primary Health Centre. The event was graced by Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairman Jogendra Swain as the Chief Guest, and Damai Bhatraksha, Member of the Zilla Parishad, as the Guest of Honour. Also present were Dr. Swagatika Priyadarshini, Dental Surgeon from Dabugaon Community Health Centre, Male Health Worker Haramohan Jena, Female Health Worker Swapna Pal, among others.
A large number of men and women from nearby areas attended the camp for health checkups. As part of the government’s Sustha Nari Sashakta Parivaar Abhiyaan, free medical checkups and medicines were provided to the attendees, along with guidance on how to stay healthy. The public was encouraged to take advantage of the health facilities and services being provided by the government.
A total of 210 beneficiaries availed services at the health camp. To monitor the progress and effectiveness of the campaign, a team was sent as per the instructions of the District Collector of Nabarangpur. Although the event was running smoothly, it had to be concluded inside the conference hall due to rainfall.
