Jeypore: At the Odisha Folk Art Festival 2025, held for three days in Banaigarh, Sundargarh district, renowned Koraput-based artist, stage performer, All India Radio artist, film actor, and member of the State Folk Art Resource Committee, Shri Gupteswar Panigrahi, was honored as a distinguished guest.

The Honorable MLA of Banaigarh, Shri Lakshman Munda, who has been recognized as one of India’s best legislators, presented Gupteswar Panigrahi with a memento and a certificate of honor at the festival.

The event was graced by notable personalities, including Mahasangha President Chaitanya Paik, satirical poet Debendra Sahu, international athlete Santosh Kumar Pradhan, social worker Shrikant Panda, Odissi dance guru Sanatan Nayak from Bhubaneswar, and dance guru Bijaya Nayak. They also participated in the honor ceremony.

The Odisha Folk Art Festival took place at the Rajadharani Dhar Bahumukhi Padia in Banaigarh, celebrating the state’s rich folk traditions.
