Gudari, Jan, 22: The Gudari Police Station Officer, Samarpita Swain, has been transferred to Bisamkatak Police Station, according to a notification issued by the Home Department.
Ms. Swain had been serving at Gudari Police Station for more than two years and had become very popular among the general public. She actively participated in various local programmes and activities in the area. In recognition of her efficient performance, she was awarded by the government after securing the ninth position at the state level.
Following her transfer, members of the public have expressed sadness and disappointment.
In her place, Biswabandini Bag, the Officer-in-Charge of Tikiri Police Station under Kashipur Block, has been appointed as the Gudari Police Station Officer.
