Bhubaneswar, Jan, 08: Vehicles having a Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) will be fitted with a green sticker.
This was informed by Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena.
The Transport Department will provide the green stickers.
Action will be taken against vehicles that do not have a pollution certificate.
As Road Safety Month is approaching, the PUCC drive has been relaxed/streamlined.
The fines increased in 2019 will be reviewed for possible relaxation.
Since fines are lower in other states, the matter is under review.
As pollution certification applies to both new and old vehicles, necessary assessments are being carried out.
