Nabarangpur, 22nd Sept 2025: Under the initiative of Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, a grand blood donation camp was organized on 17th September at Chirayu Medical Store, Nabarangpur, as part of ‘Raktadan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0’, coinciding with the 61st Foundation Day of the organization and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The event was part of a nationwide mega blood donation campaign, supported by various ministries of the Government of India.
Key Highlights of the Program:
A total of 66 people donated blood at the camp.
Hon’ble MP Balabhadra Majhi inaugurated the event by donating blood himself, creating awareness and setting an example.
MLA Gaurishankar Majhi, BJP District President Kunj Das, and Traders’ Association President Manas Ranjan Das also graced the event.
Additional District Medical Officer Dr. Sushant Satpathy and Municipal Executive Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar Karna attended and encouraged donors.
Deepak Jain (President) and Shubham Jain (Secretary) of Terapanth Yuvak Parishad welcomed all guests.
Notable members like Lalit Jain and Tinu Jain felicitated dignitaries with flower bouquets.
Special Initiatives:
As part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ campaign, launched by the Prime Minister, saplings were gifted to the MP, MLA, and health officials.
The program began with prayers and mantras by the Mahila Mandal.
Family members of many Terapanthi Jain members—including Brijata Jain, Saroj Majhi, Harish Jain, Savita Jain, Shubham Jain, and Vikas Kumar Agrawal—donated blood to inspire social awareness.
Lab technicians Arun Swain, Hemant Raut, Sambit Mishra, Kapil Bhatra, and staff from the District Headquarters Hospital Blood Bank provided technical assistance.
Lab tech Arun Swain was specially honored for his contributions.
