Mukundapur, Kolanara: The annual function of Ashram School in Jhoradi, Kolanara Block, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by the school’s Headmaster Santosh Kumar Mohapatra, along with Sarpanch Ananta Mandangi, ABEO Pitridev Bidika, School Management Committee President Chintamani Pirbaka, retired teacher Arjun Nimala, CRCC Shiva Behera, and Ashram School chairman.
The chief guest of the program was Shyamghan Bhuyan, the Education Officer of the Welfare Department. The village head of Jhoradi, Kamal Chandra Puala, attended as the honored guest. After a welcome song performed by the students, the headmaster presented the annual report. The guests motivated the students with their speeches, emphasizing the mantra of success. Outstanding students from the annual sports events were awarded during the ceremony.
The students also showcased cultural performances at the end of the event. The program was attended by T. Sikabadi School Headmaster Shyam Mishal, Kenduguda School Headmaster Dilip Choudhury, and Sundidhamuni School Headmaster C.H. Ravi Kumar, who encouraged the students with their presence.
A special felicitation was given to Rajarao Ganda, who had served as a CCA (Cluster Coordinator Assistant) at the school for 24 years. Teacher Tapaswini Das hosted the event, while Lakshman Sabar, Karunakara Gaida, Mamita Biswal, and K. Shivani assisted in organizing it. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Assistant Teacher Jogendra Sabar.
