Kotpad The annual festival of the Girls’ High School in Kotpad was held with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the distinguished guests.
The festival was presided over by District Welfare Officer Sunil Kumar Tandi, while Kotpad NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao attended as the chief guest. The keynote speaker was Sesananda Mishra, Principal of Kotpad College. Other prominent attendees included MLA representative Binayak Acharya, former Chairman of the School Management Committee Parshuram Samarth, and current Chairman Purna Chandra Pujari, all of whom contributed to making the event successful.
Several media representatives were also present. Before the guests delivered their speeches, the school’s Headmistress, Sushree Pramila Pujari, and Principal, Ranjita Mohanty, presented the annual report.
During the event, the guests emphasized the importance of education to the students and their parents. Meritorious students were also felicitated with awards by the distinguished guests.
The event concluded with various cultural performances by the students. The program was hosted by teachers L.K. Renuka and Jitendra Narayan Nag. Other faculty members, including Umesh Chandra Bishoi, Santosh Sahu, Shankar Bagh, Ashish Kumar Bhoi, Hemant Kumar Behera, Muntu Maishi, and several female teachers such as Mamata Kumari Das, Sandhyarani Behera, M. Shailaja, Bani Shri Swayamprabha, Prabha Panigrahi, Reena Kumari Behera, Banita Kumari Swain, Sasmita Raut, and Sneh Lata Nayak, actively participated in the event. Volleyball coach Manoranjan Das, along with all school staff, provided full support to make the event a success.
