Bhadrak: The demand for a university in Bhadrak has been a long-standing aspiration of the district’s residents. Addressing this need, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi affirmed the state government’s commitment to fulfilling this aspiration.
Speaking during his visit to Bhadrak district on Monday, the Chief Minister stated that just as the people of Bhadrak have been waiting for the establishment of a medical college for the last 18 years, the foundation stone for that college would also be laid very soon.
Participating in a program held at Rambhila R.D. Pada Padia under Bhadrak Block, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth ₹275 crore.

He emphasized that Bhadrak district is gaining national attention due to its progress across various sectors.
The Chief Minister noted that the long-awaited demand for a medical college by the people of Bhadrak will soon become a reality.
Starting his speech, Chief Minister Majhi first paid respects to the presiding deities of Bhadrak — Goddess Bhadrakali and Baba Akhandalamani. He then began his address by acknowledging the cultural, political, and freedom struggle legacy of the region.
