Bhubaneswar, Jan, 12: Chief Minister Increases Artist Pension by Rs1,000
The monthly pension for artists has been raised from Rs2,000 to Rs3,000.
Artists aged 40 to 80 years will now receive this increased pension amount.
Artists above 80 years of age will receive Rs 3,500 per month.
Previously, the monthly pension was Rs 2,500.
This announcement was made by the Chief Minister during the state-level Pala (folk theatre) convention.
