Government Launches Door-to-Door Survey for Children Aged 0 to 18

Papadahandi:  A rapid door-to-door survey is being conducted under the supervision of the Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) at the Semala Cluster Resource Centre in Papadahandi block of Nabarangpur district. CRCC Babulal Sagar is closely monitoring the survey process being carried out by teachers in the Semala Gram Panchayat.

Teachers are visiting households to collect accurate data, as part of the monitoring effort. Based on the survey framework, CRCC Babulal Sagar visited schools like Paika Katara Government Primary School (Hrushikesh), Usi village Government Upper Primary School (Panchanan Sahu and Priyanka), Janiguda Government Primary School (Lingraj Sahu), and Semala High School (Manoj Sahu), where the teachers were seen conducting door-to-door surveys and discussing with local residents.

The teachers are collecting data in a prescribed format, and Babulal Sagar is also sensitizing people about the importance of providing information regarding children between the ages of 0 and 18 — whether they are currently enrolled in school or have dropped out.

There is visible enthusiasm among villagers about the survey, and the teachers’ efforts are being appreciated. The monitoring of this door-to-door survey has been praised for its execution. As per the directive of the Mass Education Department, the goal is to ensure 100% school enrollment and prevent school dropouts by providing access to education. This initiative has been highly appreciated by the public and educational stakeholders.
