Government Launches “Ama Shasan” Portal for Public Services

Malkangiri,2nd Sept 2025: With the aim of bringing transparency and cleanliness to governance, the state government has launched the “Ama Shasan” system, which enables direct feedback collection from citizens. This initiative is intended to enhance efficiency and behavioral change in government offices through a direct opinion-gathering mechanism.

Today, the honorable Chief Minister Moham Han Charan Majhi inaugurated the “Ama Shasan” portal at a separate program held at Lokseva Bhawan. This event was also attended virtually by all district administrations across the state.

The program was held at Oswan Hall, District Collectorate Office, where District Collector Mr. Mishra Upadhyay and general public representatives like Somnath Pradhan were present. Additional officials including Additional District Collector Sadha Adhikari, District Social Welfare Officer Gauri Nayak, District Social Security Officer Nirmal Dharua, District Information & Public Relations Officer Pramila Majhi, District Council Finance Director Manas Mishra, and DGM Subhashish Pattnayak participated, along with various scheme beneficiaries.

Through this platform, Chief Minister, Ministers, and departmental officers will directly receive citizens’ feedback via telephone. During field visits, officials will also use mobile apps to gather public opinions. This initiative aims to build a developed Odisha by enabling direct communication between citizens and the government.

In the first phase, 13 services from 8 departments will be provided, including Panchayati Raj, Social Security and Empowerment of Differently Abled, Women & Child Welfare, Tribal Development, Energy, Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment, Food Supply, Health and Housing departments.

Citizens can provide their feedback directly through the web portal, WhatsApp (phone number: 91-7400221903), chatbot, email, and toll-free number (14471), among other means.

The “Ama Shasan” platform will help the state government receive feedback from the grassroots level and support improved governance.
