Koraput, 18th July 2025: A one-day national-level awareness camp on various schemes of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), including the National SC-ST Hub, was organized on Monday at the auditorium of Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, with joint support from the Central and State Governments.

The camp aimed to raise awareness about the National SC-ST Hub and various MSME-related schemes. Entrepreneurs were informed about opportunities available through government initiatives, and how to collaborate with public sector enterprises and financial institutions.
Union Minister Karandlaje stated that, with government efforts, six districts of South Odisha would witness significant development. She emphasized the importance of self-reliance for entrepreneurship and mentioned that the Central Government gives priority to purchasing locally produced goods from entrepreneurs.
Currently, 34 Percent of products procured by the government are sourced from MSMEs. So far, 6.57 crore individuals have registered on the MSME portal, and 28 crore people have benefited through employment opportunities created under MSMEs.
The program included workshops for more than 100 entrepreneurs from different parts of the state. Successful entrepreneurs were honored by the guests for their contributions and achievements.
