Jeypore, 12th Aug 2025: Following the invitation of Parameswar Patra, President of the Gopal Community in Sohal Block, Koraput district, a preparation meeting was held at Yadav Bhavan in Jeypore.
The meeting was attended by many prominent members of the Gopal community including District Women’s President Mrs. Kavita Mahankud, Dr. Sudarshan Goud (Advisor), Regional City President Bhaskar Goud, Narayan Goud, Maguni Goud, Ramchandra Goud, Durlabh Mahankud, Arush Goud, Hari Goud, Shriram Goud, and others.
Discussions were held regarding the celebration of the festival, which is considered the East State or original festival of the Gopal community. Representatives from Jayapur Mutha, Koraput Mutha, Baipariguda Mutha, and other combined groups took part in the planning for the Nand Utsav festival celebration in Jayapur.
At the end of the meeting, Srinivas Patra extended greetings and thanks to all participants.
