Asurali, Jan, 16: The 40th Annual Function of Korua Gobindapur High School under Gobindapur Panchayat of Dhamnagar Block was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The meeting was presided over by Headmaster Ramakant Mallik, while teacher Pandit Subash Chandra Nayak conducted the proceedings.
The Chief Guest was former Headmaster Pidhar Sahu.
Among the distinguished guests were retired teacher Bansidhar, former Headmaster Nidhuram Dutta, Dhusuri Press Union President Santosh Das, former Samiti Member Srikant Nayak, Pati, Bishnu Mohan Behera, Rakesh Pradhan, and teachers Jayashree Rashmirekha Jena.
The annual report was presented by Aparajita Tapomala Barik.
All the teachers and staff — Mamta Jena, Ramakant Mahapatra, Rajendra Prasad Parida, Shashwati Panda, Smitanjali Mallik, Ashutosh Mahanti, Satyabhama Dutta, Sharmistha Nath, Kumudini Das, Mamata Rani Mallik, Jyotsnarani Mallik, Muralidhar Purukhat and Bishnu Mohan Behuria — worked tirelessly to make the function a grand success.
At the end, a vote of thanks was proposed by senior teacher Hrushikesh Jena.
In the final phase of the programme, students presented cultural performances, and meritorious students were felicitated with prizes.
