Koraput, 19th Aug 2025: Very soon, the “Gati Bandha Bharat Express” will run from Koraput-Jaypur to Bhubaneswar, improving connectivity in the region.
The paper mill in Jaypur is set to resume operations.
A new college will be established in Jaypur, as announced by the Chief Minister during the distribution of Subhadra’s financial assistance.
In Koraput district, projects worth over ₹762 crore have been inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid by the Chief Minister.
Out of these, projects with an expenditure above Rs 452 crore include 436 projects for foundation stone laying.
Projects worth over ₹309 crore include 126 projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
These initiatives mark a significant step in infrastructure, education, and industrial development for Jaypur and the surrounding areas.
