Gajalakshmi Puja Celebrated with Grandeur at Various Pandals in Belguntha

Belguntha, 8th Oct 2025:  On the auspicious occasion of Kumar Purnima, grand Gajalakshmi Puja celebrations were held across various puja pandals in Belguntha town and block areas. In particular, at Jagannath Prasad Road in Belguntha, the Gajalakshmi Puja Committee performed the puja in a highly spiritual atmosphere at Lakshmi Nagar. Similarly, the Sri Sri Sri Gajalakshmi Puja Committee conducted celebrations at Main Road, Hatapada with great devotion.

In Gobara, located on the main road of the block, Gajalakshmi Puja was also observed. Ceremonies such as Kalash Yatra, Sala Puja, Surya Puja, Japa-Stava chanting, Kalash installation, and Homa Yajna were conducted by priests Ramprasad Mishra, Sangram Nanda, and Sumrit Panigrahi. The residents of Gobara Main Road and Basudevpur village actively participated and cooperated in the arrangements.

Likewise, in Bori village under Gangapur Panchayat, the Jay Jagannath Puja Committee organized the ninth Gajalakshmi Puja festival.

At every puja pandal, until the idol immersion (visarjan), several events are planned, including:

Evening aarti

Bhajan programs

Various cultural performances

Melodies

Sankirtan

A grand 1008-lamp Yajna

And prasadam distribution

Considering the expected crowds of devotees, special arrangements have been made at the pandals. Additionally, the beautifully lit decorative lighting and toranas (archways) are enhancing the visual splendor of the celebrations.
