Tentulikunti: The alumni of Tentulikunti Bapuji High School distributed fruits to patients undergoing treatment at the local hospital today. Additionally, blankets were distributed to the residents of the local old age home.
The alumni also visited their former school, where they paid floral tributes to the statue of a great personality. The 2000 matriculation batch of the school gathered together at Kurmakot Square, where they honored their teachers and participated in a procession around the village.
Afterward, they visited Bapuji High School, sharing cherished memories from their school days. They then proceeded to the hospital and old age home to distribute fruits and blankets.
At a separate event organized near Kenduguda, distinguished guests including Guru Bipracharan Nayak, Tankadhar Bishoyi, along with his wife, Sharatchandra Rath, Y. Krishna Rao, and Ice Cream Bhaina from their childhood days were honored.
Prior to the program, a two-minute silent prayer was observed in memory of departed teachers and classmates. Teachers and alumni exchanged heartfelt memories from 25 years ago, rekindling strong emotional bonds.
The event also featured sports activities, where winners were awarded trophies by the teachers to encourage them. As a gesture of commitment to environmental protection, each teacher was gifted a sapling and urged to nurture it.
The event was hosted by Rajesh Karkara, with Dushmanta Nayak introducing the guests. Akhil Bhatara coordinated the program, supported by several others.
