From Peon to IAS – No One Will Be Spared: Stern Warning Against Corruption

Bhubaneswar: “We had promised during the election that we would not spare the corrupt. Whoever is involved in corruption, taking bribes or commission, will be caught. Whether it is a peon or an IAS officer, from mining scams to chit fund frauds — no one will be spared,” said BJP Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during a press conference held today at Geetagovinda Bhawan.

Addressing the media, the Chief Minister issued a stern warning to corrupt officials and employees. He emphasized, “Within the first year of our government, action has been taken against corrupt IAS and OAS officers. None have been spared, and none will be spared in the days ahead. No corrupt person is safe here.”

As the BJP government in the state nears completion of one year in office, CM Majhi reiterated the government’s commitment to cracking down on corruption. He added that many large-scale corruption cases in the state — including those with criminal files — are being reopened, and their hidden truths will soon be exposed.

“We are determined to take action against all corruption and crime. Whether it’s mining scams, chit fund frauds, or any other form of corruption, the government has neither backed down nor remained silent. We will act decisively,” he said.
