Asurali, Jan, 02: A friends’ reunion of the 1992 Matriculation batch students of Kothar High School was held at the Badapokhari playground in Kothar.
At the outset, paying tribute to the late Manoranjan Gochhayat, a member of the batch who had passed away, floral homage was offered to his portrait followed by two minutes of silence.
Among the guests, Dhusuri Press Union President Santosh Dash and Treasurer Ratikanta Nayak were present. The former students shared their memories and experiences from their school days.
Sasmita Nayak, Rashmiranjan Sahu, Minati Pothal, and Kanua Sahu presented musical performances, while the dance performances by Alok Nayak and Bharat Bhushan Nayak were particularly impressive.
The cultural program was organized under the coordination of Professor Sridhar Sahu. The event was managed by Dr. Nimai Nayak, Deepak Behera, Abinash Dash, Manas Panigrahi, Chandrasekhar Sahu, Prashant Pothal, Bijayalakshmi Mahapatra, Usharani Sahu, Saraswati Raul, Ranjit Baral, Jibesh Nayak, and Purastam Nayak, among others.
