Dhusuri, Dec, 27:  The fifth phase of the free pilgrimage to Jagannath Dham for senior citizens, organized by the Love and Care Charitable Trust, has been successfully completed. Under this initiative, elderly residents from Harinhans and Olatpur Patrisahi villages of Dhusuri Panchayat were taken on a pilgrimage to Jagannath Dham (Puri).
As part of the program, the Trust provided completely free services for the elderly, including travel to and from the destination, food, drinking water, and even essential emergency medicines. Speaking about future plans, the Trust’s Chief Managing Director, Nilachal Sahu, said that in the coming days the Love and Care Charitable Trust will provide ambulance services for the welfare of poor and needy people. He also added that all necessary services—from hospitals to cremation grounds—will be provided free of cost.

For this purpose, the Trust will soon issue an emergency helpline number. Members of the charitable organization also stated that assistance will be extended based on available resources and services. Earlier, the pilgrimage to Puri had been successfully conducted in four phases.

Members of the organization including Dibyalochan Muduli, Rajkishore Behera, Babaji Kar, Parshuram Kar, Ashutosh Kar, Ranjit Behera, Khiroda Nayak, Dinesh Dar, Sameya Das, Satyabrata Malik, Amiya Jeli, Debash Narayan Panda, Dhananjaya Basantia, Sanatan Sahu, along with all office bearers of Love and Care, were present during the fifth phase and contributed to the success of the pilgrimage.
