Nabarangpur, Dec, 19:Under the direction of Subrat Mahanti, Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, Nabarangpur, the Fourth National Lok Adalat 2025 was conducted at the District Court premises in Nabarangpur.

During the event:

The District Judge Subrat Mahanti resolved one Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (MACT) case, awarding compensation of ₹4,90,19,414.

Family court judge Lillipata Pasayat resolved 13 family dispute cases, of which 3 long-pending cases were amicably settled between the parties.

Senior civil judge Monita Tripathi resolved 3 bank loan-related cases, recovering ₹8,57,025.86 in loan dues and disposed of 4 other civil cases.

Sub-Judge (Criminal) Soumya Shankar Mahanty resolved 66 criminal cases and 3 NI Act cases, collecting fines of ₹15,353.

Second-class Criminal Judge Ankita Panigrahi resolved 7 criminal cases.

In total, during this National Lok Adalat:

100 court cases and 37,730 revenue cases were settled, resulting in revenue recovery of ₹4,34,03,6548.

22 bank-related cases were resolved, recovering ₹5,79,784.

187 electricity-related cases were resolved, recovering ₹15,86,651 in dues.
