Kotpad:Jan, 06: The foundation stone for the new offices of Girla and Dhamanahandi Panchayats under Kotpad Block was laid today by Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra. The ceremony included the traditional Bhoomi Puja (ground-breaking ritual) for both Panchayat offices.
It was informed that the construction work will start soon, with proper planning and arrangements. The state government’s initiative has brought joy to the people of both Girla and Dhamanahandi Panchayats.
During the foundation stone laying ceremony, Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, Member of Parliament Rameshwar Jena, MLA representative Vinayak Acharya, Tahsildar Tyunkal Sethi, Video Manoj Nayak, Deputy Chairperson Tapan Panigrahi, Sarpanch Jagmohan Majhi, Dbl. AE Satya Narayan Sethi, BJP workers, Panchayat officers, Sarpanchs, employees, and local residents from both Panchayats were present.
