Papadahandi,25th Aug 2025: The Papadahandi Maa Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee performed Bhumipuja (groundbreaking ritual) and Shubha Khunti Sthapana (auspicious pole installation) today at the Kalinga Samaj Bus Stand premises in preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja on October 2.
On the sacred occasion of Janmashtami, the rituals were conducted in the morning by priest Purnachandra Nayak.
The event was held under the leadership of Committee President B. Jagan Mohan Rao, with all committee members actively participating.
Several dignitaries and members present included Shankar Bishoi, Swadhan Pattnayak, Dilip Samant, Tinku Jain, N. Santosh Rao, Gangadhar Nayak, B. Simhadri Rao, B. Santosh Rao, V. Srinivas Rao, Rajkishore Rao, Trinath Bishoi, Tarini Kashyap, Manoj Muduli, Rintu Nayak, Chandu, Silu, Rinku, Pitabas, Raju, Manmohan, Devendra, Siba, Alekh, Man, Silu Lenka, Kan, Sonu, Shankar, Sundarlal, Dayanidhi, San Bishoi, along with many other members of the Durga Puja Committee.
